Open a Spanish bank account
Arrange a mortgage with the chosen Spanish bank (if required)
Agree a completion date with the vendor
Pay a 10% deposit upon signing a private contract with the
vendor
Make travel arrangements to be in Spain for the
day of completion OR give power of attorney to
the Spanish
lawyer
On the day of completion - sign the title deed
in front of a Notaria, paying the remaining balance
of the
agreed
asking price OR if your lawyer has power of attorney
wait for the
call
to confirm
the property is now yours
